Christina McGill (she/her)
MA, RCC, ADHD-CCSP
Christina provides phone and video/virtual counselling to clients across British Columbia. She offers individual counselling to adults (18+).
Christina’s work with clients focuses on helping them connect with their innate capacity to heal, supporting them to learn to trust themselves, and developing their ability to reflect on their inner self. Christina has extensive experience assisting a diverse range of clients achieve their goals, develop new skills, and regain emotional balance and a sense of well-being.
In their work with Christina, clients can expect to feel deeply understood and validated while being gently invited to identify distressing thoughts and behaviour patterns that interfere with their ability to live their best life. Christina’s goal is for every client to walk away feeling more hopeful and able to cope through increased psychoeducation, mindfulness, skill development, and deep healing.
Christina focuses on supporting clients experiencing symptoms of anxiety and/or depression, and those struggling with relationship conflict, stress, emotion dysregulation, and parenting challenges. She has extensive experience working with clients who have experienced trauma.
Christina provides ADHD-informed care to her clients. She holds the ADHD - Certified Clinical Service Provider designation, which represents her extensive additional training for and experience in supporting clients with ADHD. With a particular passion for supporting neurodivergent women, including those who have been recently diagnosed with ADHD, Christina is an excellent resource for women who are seeking a counsellor who can help them identify, understand, and learn to more effectively manage their symptoms.
Christina’s approach to counselling is client-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed. Her work is mindfulness-based and emotion-focused. She has additional training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Emotionally-Focused Family Therapy.
Christina has over 20 years of experience in the psychology, health and wellness field. She graduated from the Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology program at Yorkville University in 2012. She is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC).

$165 per 50 minute session
$265 per 80 minute session
